Author Guidelines

PEDOMAN PENULIS

Pendahuluan Sosietas mengundang para akademisi dan praktisi untuk mengirimkan naskah orisinal yang berkontribusi pada diskursus pendidikan sosiologi dan ilmu sosial. Seluruh naskah akan melalui penilaian awal oleh editor untuk memastikan kesesuaian dengan Fokus dan Ruang Lingkup kami. Naskah yang memenuhi standar akan dilanjutkan ke proses double-blind peer review.

Kepengarangan & Etika Penulis wajib memastikan seluruh penelitian yang melibatkan subjek manusia (siswa, guru, atau masyarakat) telah mendapatkan izin etik dan persetujuan (informed consent). Kami menerapkan kebijakan tanpa toleransi terhadap plagiarisme dan pelanggaran akademik. Hanya kontributor manusia yang dapat dicantumkan sebagai penulis.

1. PERSYARATAN UMUM

  • Panjang Naskah: 5.000 – 7.000 kata (tidak termasuk referensi), atau setara dengan 14-17 halaman.

  • Spasi Baris: 1.15.

  • Jenis Huruf: PT Serif, ukuran 12pt (untuk teks utama).

  • Bahasa: Bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris.

  • Ukuran Kertas: F4 (Margin Atas/Bawah: 2.54 cm; Kiri/Kanan: 1.91 cm).

  • Tata Letak: Satu kolom, tanpa menjorok pada baris pertama paragraf (0 cm).

2. STRUKTUR NASKAH

  • JUDUL: Maksimal 12 kata, menggunakan Huruf Kapital, PT Serif 14pt.

  • ABSTRAK: Maksimal 250 kata. Wajib mencakup: Latar Belakang, Tujuan, Metodologi, Temuan Utama, dan Simpulan.

  • KATA KUNCI: 2-5 kata kunci spesifik, dipisahkan dengan koma.

  • PENDAHULUAN: (15-20% dari total panjang). Mencakup latar belakang, tinjauan pustaka, dan tujuan penelitian dalam bentuk paragraf (bukan poin-poin).

  • METODE: (10-15% dari total panjang). Menjelaskan desain penelitian, sumber data, teknik pengumpulan, dan teknik analisis.

  • HASIL & PEMBAHASAN: (75% dari total panjang). Menyajikan hasil data yang objektif diikuti dengan interpretasi mendalam menggunakan teori dan literatur relevan.

  • SIMPULAN: Ringkasan hasil penelitian yang menjawab tujuan penelitian serta evaluasi temuan.

3. TABEL & GAMBAR

  • Tabel: Hanya menggunakan garis horizontal. Judul diletakkan di atas tabel (rata kiri). Sumber diletakkan di bawah (9pt, Italic).

  • Gambar: Rata tengah. Judul diletakkan di bawah gambar (rata tengah). Sumber harus disertakan dalam keterangan.

4. SITASI & DAFTAR PUSTAKA

  • Gaya Sitasi: Mengacu pada APA Edisi ke-7 (American Psychological Association).

  • Format Daftar Pustaka: PT Serif 12pt, Indentasi gantung (Hanging indent) 0.75 cm.

  • Komposisi: Minimal 80% rujukan berasal dari sumber primer (Jurnal/Prosiding).

  • Kemutakhiran: Rujukan diutamakan terbit dalam 4 tahun terakhir.

AUTHOR GUIDELINES (ENGLISH VERSION)

Introduction Sosietas: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosiologi invites scholars and practitioners to submit original manuscripts that contribute to the discourse of sociology education and social sciences. All submissions undergo an initial editorial assessment to ensure alignment with our Aims and Scope. Manuscripts that meet our standards will proceed to a double-blind peer review.

Authorship & Ethics Authors must ensure all research involving human subjects (students, teachers, or communities) has obtained necessary ethical clearances and informed consent. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for plagiarism and academic misconduct. Only human contributors may be listed as authors.

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Length: 5,000 – 7,000 words (excluding references) or approximately 14-17 pages.

  • Spacing: 1.15 line spacing.

  • Font: PT Serif, 12pt (Main text).

  • Language: English or Bahasa Indonesia.

  • Paper Size: F4 (Margins - Top/Bottom: 2.54 cm; Left/Right: 1.91 cm).

  • Layout: Single-column format, no first-line indent (0 cm).

2. MANUSCRIPT STRUCTURE

  • TITLE: Maximum 12 words, Capitalized, PT Serif 14pt.

  • ABSTRACT: Maximum 250 words. Must summarize: Background, Objectives, Methodology, Key Findings, and Conclusions.

  • KEYWORDS: Two to five specific keywords, separated by commas.

  • INTRODUCTION: (15-20% of total length). Includes background, research context, literature review, and objectives in paragraph form.

  • METHODOLOGY: (10-15% of total length). Describes research design, data sources, data collection, and data analysis.

  • FINDINGS & DISCUSSION: (75% of total length). Presents analyzed results followed by interpretation using relevant theories and literature.

  • CONCLUSION: Summarizes, restates, and evaluates the main findings.

3. TABLES & FIGURES

  • Tables: Use horizontal lines only. Title placed above the table (left-aligned). Source placed below (9pt, Italic).

  • Figures: Centered. Title placed below the figure (centered). Captions must include the source in parentheses.

4. CITATIONS & REFERENCES

  • Citation Style: Follows APA 7th Edition (American Psychological Association).

  • Reference Formatting: PT Serif 12pt, 1.15 line spacing, hanging indent 0.75 cm.

  • Composition: 80% Primary sources (Journals/Proceedings), 20% Secondary (Books).

  • Recency: Sources should preferably be from the last 4 years.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST (BAHASA INDONESIA)

  1. [ ] Orisinalitas: Naskah adalah karya orisinal, belum pernah diterbitkan sebelumnya, dan tidak sedang dalam pertimbangan oleh jurnal lain.

  2. [ ] Format File (WAJIB WORD): Naskah dikirimkan dalam format Microsoft Word (.docx). Saya memahami bahwa penggunaan format PDF akan mengakibatkan penolakan otomatis oleh sistem.

  3. [ ] Kepatuhan Template: Naskah telah disesuaikan dengan template Sosietas (PT Serif, spasi 1.15, ukuran kertas F4) dan mengikuti semua panduan gaya selingkung serta bibliografi dalam Panduan Penulis.

  4. [ ] Anonimitas (Blind Review): Semua identitas penulis (nama, afiliasi, email) akan atau telah dihapus dari isi naskah dan properti file untuk menjamin proses double-blind review.

  5. [ ] Referensi: Minimal 80% rujukan adalah sumber primer (jurnal/prosiding) dari 4 tahun terakhir, dan semua referensi telah mencantumkan URL atau DOI (jika tersedia).

  6. [ ] Kebijakan 30 Hari: Saya memahami bahwa draf submisi yang tidak tuntas (incomplete) akan dihapus otomatis oleh sistem jika tidak ada aktivitas selama lebih dari 30 hari.

  7. [ ] Biaya (APC): Saya menyetujui bahwa Biaya Pemrosesan Artikel (APC) akan ditagihkan hanya jika naskah dinyatakan layak untuk diterbitkan setelah melalui proses penelaahan.

SUBMISSION CHECKLIST (ENGLISH)

  1. [ ] Originality: The submission is an original work, has not been previously published, and is not currently under consideration by another journal.

  2. [ ] File Format (WORD ONLY): The submission file is in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. I acknowledge that PDF submissions will be automatically rejected by the system.

  3. [ ] Template Compliance: The text adheres to the Sosietas template (PT Serif, 1.15 spacing, F4 paper size) and stylistic/bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

  4. [ ] Anonymity (Blind Review): All author identifications have been or will be removed from the text and file properties to ensure a double-blind review process.

  5. [ ] References: At least 80% of references are primary sources (journals/proceedings) from the last 4 years, and all references include URLs or DOIs where available.

  6. [ ] 30-Day Policy: I acknowledge that incomplete submissions will be automatically deleted from the system after 30 days of inactivity.

  7. [ ] Processing Fee (APC): I agree that the Article Processing Charge (APC) will only be invoiced if the manuscript is accepted for publication after the review process.

Penulis yang menerbitkan naskah di Sosietas: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosiologi setuju untuk mematuhi ketentuan berikut:

  1. Kepemilikan Hak Cipta: Hak cipta atas artikel yang diterbitkan tetap berada di tangan Penulis tanpa pembatasan.

  2. Lisensi Penerbitan: Penulis memberikan hak kepada Sosietas: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosiologi dan Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI) sebagai pihak pertama yang menerbitkan artikel tersebut.

  3. Lisensi Publik: Artikel ini dilisensikan di bawah Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International, yang mengizinkan orang lain untuk berbagi, menyalin, dan mendistribusikan ulang materi ini dalam bentuk atau format apa pun, serta mengubah dan membuat turunan dari materi ini untuk tujuan apa pun, bahkan secara komersial, dengan syarat memberikan atribusi (kredit) yang semestinya kepada Penulis dan Sosietas sebagai penerbit pertama.

  4. Distribusi Non-Eksklusif: Penulis diizinkan untuk membuat pengaturan kontrak tambahan yang terpisah untuk distribusi non-eksklusif dari versi artikel yang diterbitkan (misalnya: mengunggahnya ke repositori institusi atau menerbitkannya dalam sebuah buku), dengan pengakuan atas publikasi pertamanya di Sosietas.

Authors who publish with Sosietas: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosiologi agree to the following terms:

  1. Copyright Ownership: Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication.

  2. Publication License: The manuscript is published under the auspices of Sosietas: Jurnal Pendidikan Sosiologi and Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI).

  3. Public License: Work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International, which allows others to share, copy, and redistribute the material in any medium or format, and to adapt or build upon the material for any purpose, even commercially, provided that appropriate credit is given to the Author and Sosietas as the original publisher.

  4. Non-Exclusive Distribution: Authors are permitted to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgment of its initial publication in Sosietas.
