Kritik rekonstruksi masa pra aksara Indonesia

Abstract

The reconstruction of the pre-literate period of Indonesia consists of: (1) the hunting and gathering period for simple levels of food, (2) the period of hunting and gathering advanced food, (3) the period of cultivation, and (4) the period of abandonment. This reconstruction has been criticized by Harry Truman Simanjuntak, an expert in prehistoric archeology. His criticisms were published and conveyed in scientific meetings, giving rise to discourse. This article analyzes the discourse of Indonesian pre-literacy reconstruction using the historical method of thought and is intended as a questioning material in learning history in schools, especially learning materials for pre-Indonesian literacy.
