The Aim of Journal

The journal welcomes articles that are research-based and from reflective, critical, and comparative studies on history. The journal aims, especially but not necessary limited to, scholars of history and history education from Southeast Asian countries. Scholars from other parts of Asia, Australia, Africa, America, and Europe are equally welcome to contribute to this journal.

Peer Review Process

HISTORIA: Jurnal Pendidik dan Peneliti Sejarah invites historians, educators, and those interested in sharing knowledge and experiences in the field of history and history education to publish their studies in this peer-reviewed journal. The journal welcomes articles which are research-based and from reflective, critical, and comparative studies on history. The journal aims, especially but not necessary limited to scholars of history and history education from Southeast Asia Countries. Scholars from other parts of Asia, Australia, Africa, America, and Europe are equally welcome to contribute to this journal.

The Journal operates a peer review process and promotes double-blind reviewing. The acceptance or rejection of articles will be decided by the editorial boards based on the review results supplied by the reviewers. There are no communications between authors and editors concerning the rejection decision. Authors whose papers are rejected will be informed of the reasons for the rejection.

Publication Frequency

Historia publishes twice annually in April and October. Each issue contains eight to fifteen research or opinion articles of historical learning.
