Implementasi pembelajaran Sejarah dalam upaya menumbuhkan nilai nilai toleransi dan patriotisme siswa

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the implementation of learning the history of the national movement to foster the values of tolerance and patriotism of students at Senior high school. The research method used is a qualitative method, with a single fixed case study strategy, because this research was only conducted on one target (one location), the validity of the data in this study used source triangulation and method triangulation. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document study. The results of the study: 1) Learning planning, the history teacher has done it by preparing and compiling a lesson plan which contains the values of tolerance and patriotism, 2) Implementation of learning, the history teacher teaches not only one national movement figure but almost all important figures of the movement national education is taught to students, especially teachers teach leaders of the national movement organization Budi Utomo, 3) Evaluation of learning, teachers use the principle of overall evaluation and continuity, because the aspects used by the teacher as an assessment of learning outcomes are guided by cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects 4) Barriers what is faced in learning is that there is little learning time, and now online learning makes it difficult for teachers to socialize with students and see what students are doing at home. In the end, after the learning barriers were overcome, the values of tolerance and patriotism increased.
