Pemanfaatan Tugu Ki Bagus Rangin sebagai sumber belajar sejarah

Abstract

This study aims to describe the use of the Good Struggle Monument of Rangin in Kedongdong Village, Susukan District, Cirebon Regency as a source of historical learning. This study uses a qualitative approach that relies on the researcher as the key instrument. The data was collected purposively through observation and interviews which were then processed using triangulation techniques. Data analysis was carried out inductively to achieve research results that emphasized meaning. The results showed that the Ki Bagus Rangin monument could be used as a source of historical learning because it contained a record of the events of Bagus Rangin’s struggle against the Dutch colonialists in 1802-1818. The use of the Ki Bagus Rangin Monument as a source of history learning is designed in Contextual and Teaching Learning (CTL) learning with a historical tour (field trip) model.
