Abstract

This research is motivated by the weak character of students who are not familiar with their local wisdom. This study aims to make students have a good feeling, maintain the values of local wisdom, and have various life skills needed to survive in life through learning based on Sundanese local wisdom Cageur, Bageur, Bener, Pinter, Singer Tour in history learning. History learning based on cultural intelligence by applying local Sundanese wisdom values is designed to involve history learning in class XI. The National Movement material focuses on the women’s movement carried out by Raden Dewi Sartika. The method used in this study is a literature study, namely the method used to collect data or sources related to the topic raised in a study. The results of this study are that historical learning using the Sundanese local wisdom approach can foster historical locality to the younger generation, which is a form of identity or identity of one’s life, and the main thing can strengthen the character of students, which can be implemented in everyday life. So that history learning is not limited to memorizing facts but can be meaningful. The sources of books and journals that the researchers studied showed that the concept of local wisdom significantly contributed to the development of the character or identity of students.
