Meningkatkan profil pelajar Pancasila melalui penggunaan sosiodrama dalam pembelajaran Sejarah di Malang

Abstract

This study aims to explain how the application of sociodrama in making short films set in history can be used as a tool to improve the learner profile of Pancasila at SMAN 1 Tumpang. This study used a class action research method, which involved learners, and the results of this study were reinforced by a questionnaire given to learners to assess their Pancasila learner profile after this activity was completed. A total of 34 learners from one class became the subject of this research. The results showed that the use of sociodrama by producing a short film set in history had a significant impact in developing the character of Pancasila learners among learners at SMA Negeri 1 Tumpang. This finding is very much in line with learning theories that emphasize on developing learners’ skills. Thus, this study highlights the importance of the teacher’s role in not only conveying knowledge, but also in developing learners’ abilities.
