The teacher encourages students to understand better and complete the assignments given using digital sources such as credible journals, videos, online books, and online articles. The use of digital literacy can be seen in students’ HOTS ability level, which could be more optimal because there is no difference in the level of HOTS ability of students in science or social studies classes, with a significant result 0.821 > 0.05. The students’ HOTS abilities could have been more optimal because they were still at MIPA 69.9 and IPS 69.5. The completeness of the students reached 67 people, and 76 still needed to be completed. This was caused by low teacher interaction during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Covid-19 transition, and using digital literacy-based gadgets for students, which could have been more ineffective for learning.
