Nasionalisme, toleransi, dan kepemimpinan pada buku teks pembelajaran Sejarah SMA

Abstract

Indonesian history textbook is written to help students in learning history, and must be in line with the curriculum and goals of the government, namely to shape the character of the nation. In this article, the author focuses on studying Hindu-Buddhist era material in Indonesian history textbooks. There are three values studied: the value of nationalism, the value of tolerance, and the value of leadership from the Hindu Buddhist kingdoms in Indonesia in the 4th century to the 8th century. From learning these materials, students are expected to have a nationalism spirit and have a high tolerance for their fellow cultural,  religious, and national differences. The leadership of kings in Hindu Buddhist kingdoms also taught students to be good leaders and to take the values of the leadership. The authors used content analysis methods to explore the values contained in the textbook.
