Degradasi ekologi dan kapitalisme Revolusi Hijau dalam buku teks Sejarah SMA

Abstract

This article reviews the appearance of ecological degradation and capitalism in Green Revolution  topic in history subject textbook. The discourse of Green Revolution tends to make the reader assuming it as an achivement that had been done by New Order Era. By using critical discourse analysis, writer tries to understand the social construction which is built in that discussion through the languange that is used in history subject textbook for 12th grade science programme written by I Wayan Badrika. Through this study, it found that the discourse is designed to construct  Green Revolution as a successful programme, but not critically showed the side effects of ecological and cultural degradation. It reflects that the discourse maker tries to influence the readers with New Order Era ideological vision.
