Pengembangan model penilaian KSAVE dalam pembelajaran Sejarah

Abstract

In facing the 21st century, history education needs to do many developments and reinforcements to build national characters which is in line with ability of comprehensive, critical, crative, and inovative thinking through good communication and collaboration equiped with advance ICT skills, so that it can result Indonesian citizens with strong national vision to face rapid globalization. One od the way to reach the mentioned things is with preparing the prospective teachers with knowledge, skills, attitudes, values, and ethics which are needed to face the 21st century. This research tried to prepare the prospective history teacher since their students life through KSAVE (Knowledge, Skill, Attitude, Value and Ethics) evaluation model. This model consists of Ways of Thinking terdiri dari: (1) creativity and innovation; (2) critical thinking, problem solving, decision making; (3) learning to learn, metacognition. ways of working terdiri dari:(4) communication; (5) collaboration. tools of working .yang terdiri dari: (6) information literacy; (7) ict literacy. living in the world yang terdiri dari (8) citizenship; (9) life dan career; (10) personal and social responsibility. Method that was used in this reseacrh is Research and Development. Results shows that the studets’ of History Education Department’s way of thinking is still low. This is seen from the aspect of critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, creativity, inovation, and metacognitive. On the other hand, way of working, working tools, and life skill show in good criteria. They work collaboratively and communicatively in home and school environment. They also have skill to access several sources such as YouTube, blogs, and any othe sites to look for information related to the studies. However, this skill need to be upgraded more to process the information into a writing contains of critical, creative, and inovative elements. Lastly, they have adequate life skills to live as citizen in local and global contexts, career, and social responsibilty.
