Abstract

The complicated nation’s problems have made people restless, while the comfort and security and pride of their country are coveted. This is because they are aware of the responsibilities of citizens with equal rights and obligations. It can not be denied, various shortcomings and weaknesses occur in education. Without neglecting the on going improvement efforts, various breakthroughs or new efforts in educational development are needed. It is increasingly encouraging with the awareness of the parties concerned by realizing the various weaknesses that wrap it. Value education is essentially a commitment to what steps an educator should take to direct young people to the understanding and internalization of the values and virtues that will mold them into good human beings. Because in the context of the current strengthening is very relevant to overcome the moral crisis that occurred in Indonesia. Character education practices that 
should reinforce aspects of good values. Planting the persistence value of K.H. Sjam’un is rightly used as a role model for the people of Banten
