This research motivated by the lack of historical imagination of students in learning history. the indications visible from the low student to ask, answer, understanding and imagining historical events. From those issues, the researchers formulate some problems taken in this study is, how to develop teaching history by applying edutainment model. This study aimed to improve the skills of historical imagination of students in learning history. The method used is a Classroom Action Research, which refers to the study design Kemmis and Mc. Taggart consists of the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection. The data source obtained from the student, the teacher, the interaction between students and teachers, places and events where the learning activities take place. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, and documentation. Based on the research results Class Action that has been implemented in Grade XI MIPA 3 SMAN 6 Bandung with edutainment model in history, it can be concluded that learning with edutainmentmodel can improve the ability to express historical imagination of students in learning the history of Grade XI SMAN 6 Bandung. It is shown by several indicators that have been formulated. Besides, this model can be used as an alternative solution to overcome the problem of teaching history is found in the classroom.
