This research aims to know thoroughly about the Jugun Ianfu system implemented by the Japanese government in each of its colonies, especially Indonesia. This study will explain why the Japanese government established the Jugun Ianfu system in each of its colonies, the state of Jugun Ianfu women at that time, and the sociopsychological impact Jugun Ianfu was solely for the benefit of the Japanese army military soldiers. The existence of the Jugun Ianfu system is evidenced by the discovery of the comfort station (ianjo), which was first built in Shanghai, China. Jugun Ianfu in Indonesia was imposed after the Japanese successfully expelled the Dutch from Indonesia. At that time, the victims of Jugun Ianfu explained that they often get phsycal violence or sexual violence from Japanese soldiers or their officers. The method used in this study consists of four steps heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. This became a problem faced by the victims of Jugun Ianfu in Indonesia (1942-1945) as if covered by the government because it considered the problem of Jugun Ianfu as a disgrace to the state. Even the Indonesian government tends to be passive in dealing with the problem of Jugun Ianfu that occurs in Indonesian women.
